The role of a Business Insights Specialist plays a pivotal part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

This position ensures timely, accurate reporting and provides analysis that fuels informed decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver regular performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and ad-hoc analysis to support business strategy.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and maintain dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to provide stakeholders with clear insights.
  • Present complex data sets clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain data integrity by extracting, cleaning, and validating from multiple systems.
  • Support workforce planning with forecasting and trend analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Recommend and track process improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and confidentiality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data analysis and reporting within a similar environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
  • Solid understanding of SQL and ability to query databases effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Effective communication and data storytelling abilities.
