Cloud Security Specialist Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective security understanding is required for on-prem hybrid cloud management, enabling efficient collaboration between teams.
  • Determine security requirements from development teams and implement cyber security solutions into cloud environments, fostering a secure and reliable digital landscape.
  • Ensure access control and data security controls are implemented within the cloud environment, protecting sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Maintain security measures to protect cloud environments from cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches, upholding the highest standards of cybersecurity best practices.
Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in cloud security architecture and design.
  • Strong understanding of network security protocols and threat detection.
  • Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers (CSPs) and their security features.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
