Academic Advocate

Our Educational Partner is seeking a highly skilled Academic Advocate

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a strong motivator and mentor who can build positive relationships with students and help them achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to track student performance and provide effective support.

• Student Engagement & Mentorship:
  • Build trusting relationships with students and offer guidance and support to help them excel academically and personally.
  • Organize and lead activities, clubs, and programs that encourage academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and counselors to address student concerns and provide necessary interventions.
• Academic Performance & Support:
  • Monitor student progress, identify challenges, and provide interventions to improve learning outcomes.
  • Conduct continuous assessments and evaluations to track student understanding of the curriculum.
  • Work closely with teachers and counselors to develop customized academic plans for students requiring additional support.
• Parent Communication & Collaboration:
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians to keep them updated on their child's development.
  • Organize and participate in parent meetings and conferences to discuss student progress and goals.
  • Address parental concerns and provide guidance on how they can support their child's education at home.
• Data Management & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, assessments, and behavioral observations.
  • Prepare reports and conduct data analysis on student performance and development for internal use and communication with parents and school leadership.
  • Utilize educational software for efficient data tracking and reporting.
  Requirements:
  • Passion for mentoring and guiding students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to track and analyse student performance.
  • Proficiency in maintaining records and using educational software.
