Job Overview:

  • As an Embedded Software Developer, you will work on safety-critical projects for automotive products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer safety requirements and develop technical safety concepts.
  • Manage functional safety interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on implementing safety mechanisms and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in functional safety.
  • Develop software system architecture in accordance with ISO 26262 standards.
  • Review technical risk assessments and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess suppliers for functional safety capabilities.
  • Preferred experience with SOTIF knowledge.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Information Technology, or Telecommunication.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in the field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in functional safety development.
  • Expertise in C programming and familiarity with ASPICE.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO 26262 development processes, specifically Part 6 for road vehicles.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR.
  • Proficiency in designing safety products using various tools such as debuggers, simulators, oscilloscopes, Vector CANAnalyzer, and Vector CANoe.
