Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will design, develop and deploy high-quality Java-based applications using Java 8/J2EE/Webservices/Spring/Spring Boot.

They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement, and maintain large-scale microservices-based systems.

Database management (MySQL, Oracle) and data integrity will be ensured by the successful candidate.

Version management systems (Git/SVN) will be used to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.

They will contribute to the development of new features, fix bugs, and improve system performance.

Continuous integration and deployment processes will be managed to ensure smooth delivery of products.

Technical guidance and support will be provided to junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Java/J2EE
  • Hands-on experience in Java 8/J2ee/Webservices/Spring/Spring Boot
  • Experience in databases (Mysql, Oracle)
  • Experience in microservices
  • Experience in version management systems (Git/SVN)
  • Good experience in requirement gathering, design, implementation, unit testing, deployment, maintenance
  • Experience with ticketing applications
  • Knowledge of UNIX, Shell scripts etc. is an added advantage
  • Proven ability to link business drivers to successful solutions
  • Critical thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Reactive programming knowledge
  • REST API knowledge
