About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Executive to lead our US Federal accounting team. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy of our general ledger and overseeing complete bookkeeping for US Federal employees.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and perform day-to-day accounting tasks using Quickbooks.
- Review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to payment terms.
- Invoice clients and customers promptly, ensuring timely billing.
- Assist in employee onboarding and de-boarding on Quickbooks and benefits.
- Coordinate timesheets and process US payroll and employee expenses.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable balances, following up on overdue payments.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in US accounting, preferably with US GAAP knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Work Arrangements
This role offers flexible remote work arrangements, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively. The shift timing is from 4.00 PM to 1.00 AM IST, enabling you to adapt to our global operations.
