Job Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Lead Product Engineer with expertise in Django to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and high-performance software systems.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Architect and develop scalable, high-quality software solutions with a focus on maintainability and performance.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks throughout the full software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using appropriate tools and scripting to optimize workflows.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and validation to ensure software functionality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to continuously improve product quality and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering development phases and system monitoring.
  • Ensure rigorous software quality through unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing strategies.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python and Django framework, along with experience in FastAPI, Celery, RabbitMQ, and message brokers.
  • Familiarity with additional technologies such as GoLang, React.js, AWS and Azure is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience working with complex codebases and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Expertise in version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Up-to-date with emerging technologies and capable of designing technical roadmaps for system enhancements including AI and copilot.
