Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
- Revenue Recognition: Manage and execute revenue recognition in compliance with US GAAP, including ASC 606.
- Inventory Accounting: Oversee inventory accounting under ASC 330, tracking inventory movement, costing, and reconciliations.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy across all accounts.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and record complex journal entries for revenue, inventory, accruals, and other critical transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on revenue recognition and inventory accounting.
- US CPA license or CPA exams cleared/licensure in progress preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 and ASC 330.
