Job Title: Construction Contracts Manager

URC Construction (P) Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to oversee the management of construction projects from inception to completion.

  • Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or similar certification courses.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with a background in metro and building projects.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional cost management and communication skills, as well as knowledge of the standard method of measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate project documentation for all claim-related matters.
  2. Identify changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost and ensure timely notification to the employer.
  3. Track submitted claims letters individually and prepare contractual justification referring to contractual conditions.
  4. Prepare Contractual reply/request to the employer for claim approval.
  5. Prepare Claim documents.
  6. Prepare a detailed claim statement for submission to DAAB.
  7. Present the claim from start of occurrence to present status to the Advocate.
  8. Update the claim status to RO / HO.
  9. Coordinate with the project team and provide necessary details.
  10. Prepare Comprehensive EOT application and substantiate with contemporary records.
  11. Ensure all claims raised by the project team are substantiated with Contract entitlements.
  12. Provide input to the DAAB committee.
  13. Work closely with the reporting manager and prepare additional reports/work as directed.
