Job Title: Practice/ Chartered Accountant

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 2 years' experience in internal audit and/or risks and controls-based auditing. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various audits, including internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits.

The ideal candidate will possess a basic understanding of direct and indirect taxation compliance and have strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits, statutory audits, and tax audits
  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and accounting standards
  • Manage tax filings and ensure timely and accurate tax payments and submissions
  • Oversee audits and work with the team to ensure efficient and accurate audit processes
  • Provide strategic financial advice and analysis to management for decision-making
  • Review financial data and prepare reports on financial performance, including forecasting and budgeting
  • Ensure compliance with corporate laws, taxation laws, and other regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience post-qualification
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
