Lead Direct Tax Division

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and grow our Direct Tax division. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up the division, managing client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of advisory assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the Direct Tax division strategy and vision.
  • Develop and execute plans to grow the business and expand the division's reach.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals to meet allocated deliverables.
  • Actively undertake business development to onboard new clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Lawyer and/or CA with experience in rendering M&A Tax/Direct tax/Corporate Tax Advisory Services at reputable consulting firms/law firms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing teams and mentoring junior professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to Kolkata.

Location:

Kolkata (with frequent travel required)
