Hardware Engineer Role

A leading organization is seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing test software, integrating and validating the test software with the test system, and creating user manuals documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop test software according to the test system and its functionality.
  • Integration & validation of the test software with the test system.
  • Development of test procedure & user manuals documents.
  • Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements.
  • Remote support for the validation and breakdown issues of the test systems.
Essential Skills
  • 3-5 years experience in LabVIEW development.
  • Ni LabVIEW PDS (2018) with add-on toolkits - Report generation, Database connectivity, Application builder, VI Analyzer, DLL, EXE integrations.
  • Hands on experience of Ni instruments, Keysight devices, GwInstek, MCC DAQ.
  • Knowledge of Measurement of Electronics Devices & Electronics Devices Theory, Hardware Functional testing.
  • Experience in programming to control the NI/Keysight Instruments.
  • Experience in preparing reports using report generation tool kit for Excel & word report.
  • Experience in SQL commands for communicating with MS Access, SQL database.
  • Hardware Cards Ni-DAQ cards, Ni-PXI, Ni-USB, Keysight Dataloggers, GwInstek Power Supplies, MCC DAQ Equipment.
  • Tools MS Office, GitHub, SQL.
  • Software LabVIEW, ORCAD, VISIO.
  • Protocols RS232, TCP/IP, UDP, USB, GPIB, I2C, SPI, MODBUS, HART.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Hardware development life cycle or hardware test process.
  • Hands on experience in board bring up, debugging and validation of Hardware for test system.
  • Hands on experience in drawing, reviewing and analyzing the hardware schematics.
  • Knowledge of Electronics Instrumentation, data acquisition, schematics design.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
