Lead Generative AI Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned independent consultant to shape high-impact Generative AI solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Leadership: Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and lead ideation and design of innovative Generative AI solutions.
  • Technical Architecture: Translate client needs into actionable solution concepts defining architecture data strategy model selection and tooling required for success.
  • Project Ownership: Lead end-to-end delivery of GenAI solutions ensuring technical quality alignment with business goals and timely execution of project milestones.
  • Team Mentorship: Guide cross-functional teams fostering best practices and ensuring project accountability.
  • Hands-On Contribution: Remain hands-on with tools models and code to prototype build and troubleshoot complex components of the application.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as key technical point of contact for clients managing expectations providing clear progress updates and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to co-develop tailored proposals Statements of Work (SOWs) and implementation roadmaps.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience leading technical teams and taking ownership of AI-driven solution design development and deployment.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI technologies including LLMs vector databases embeddings and agentic systems.
  • Ability to develop and deploy GenAI solutions using Python and relevant frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML/AI services.
  • Prior experience in consulting pre-sales or freelance capacity is preferred.
  • Comfort with dynamic nature of short-term projects where requirements may evolve.
Availability:
  • 5 - 8 hours overlap with EST according to client needs
  • Immediate or up to 1-2 weeks notice
  • Open to short-term projects such as discovery proposals and 6 weeks POCs
