EdTech Solutions Architect Opportunity

This role is designed to engage a highly skilled EdTech professional who will contribute significantly in building innovative solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

About the Role

The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting our customers across the EdTech and Public sectors in leveraging AWS to develop and implement impactful solutions.

This position involves working closely with our sales and partner teams to shape how solutions are proposed, architected, and implemented for clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing technical credibility in sales cycles for Amazon platforms, technologies, and associated offerings.
  • Capturing and conveying best practices and providing prescriptive guidance around application and systems design on the Amazon platforms and technologies.
  • Providing direct input and feedback from the field to the engineering teams developing these offerings, contributing to the evolution of the Amazon platforms and technologies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, and data & analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting applications and infrastructures.
  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries and migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
  • Previous experience working in the education sector or start-up projects is highly valued.
