About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team, someone who can craft compelling narratives and bring raw footage to life with their editing skills and creative touch.

This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of video storytelling. You'll be responsible for editing video content for various formats, cutting trailers and teasers that drive engagement, working closely with directors and producers to align edits with brand tone and creative goals, and optimizing content for different platforms.

  • Craft engaging visuals that captivate and inspire audiences
  • Collaborate with directors, producers, and content strategists to ensure seamless execution
  • Develop a deep understanding of client goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and post-production

Key Responsibilities:

  • Editing video content for various formats
  • Cutting trailers and teasers that drive engagement
  • Working closely with directors and producers
  • Optimizing content for different platforms

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in video editing or post-production
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree from a Tier-1 institute with 1-2 years of experience in Communication, Media, or related field
  • A solid portfolio showcasing versatility in editing styles and storytelling
  • Proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve

Preferred Skills:

  • Trailer-cutting chops with emotional momentum and rhythm
  • Motion graphics skills with After Effects or similar tools
  • AI tools savvy with generative AI tools
  • Colour grading expertise with a strong sense of color theory
  • Sound design basics with syncing and ambient effects
  • Green screen know-how with chroma keying and background replacements
  • Multicam experience with syncing and cutting multiple camera angles
  • Workflow efficiency with templates, LUTs, presets, and hacks
  • Subtitles & Voiceovers with multilingual captions and VO integration
