Job Title: IB PYP Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to lead and enhance our Primary Years Programme at our school. The successful candidate will foster an engaging, student-centered environment, working closely with teachers, students, and parents to promote the principles of the IB framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Develop, implement, and review the PYP curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines.
  • Teacher Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the PYP and foster a culture of inquiry and reflection.
  • Professional Development: Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff.
  • Parent Engagement: Engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the PYP.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Coordinate and support student assessments and maintain records as per IB requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification is essential.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching and a strong understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
