Job Overview

At HERE Technologies, we are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to contribute to the development of our mobile applications, focusing primarily on iOS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Xcode.
  • Collaborate with the development team to foster a clean architecture and ensure efficient code management.
  • Develop and maintain custom UI components for our mobile applications, focusing on reusable and performant components.
  • Work with the team to implement the latest features for our internal and external open-source applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in mobile development and strong front-end application development experience.
  • Proven expertise in building iOS applications using Swift, Swift UI, and Xcode.
  • Experience with the Flutter framework and Dart programming language (1-2 years preferred).
  • Ability to design and develop custom UI components, with a focus on building reusable and performant components.
  • Experience building custom views and widgets in iOS and Flutter is essential.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and ability to translate them into efficient and scalable UI components.
  • Proficiency in creating well-documented and maintainable code for custom components.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient code management and deployment.
  • Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques (a plus).
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles for iOS.
  • High interest in creating quality software code.
  • Follow engineering best practices (testing, automation, pairing, refactoring, and keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies).
  • Experience in working in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) and no problems working with distributed teams.
  • A profound knowledge of modern C++, especially if you have experience integrating it with Android and iOS applications (a plus).
