SAP Data Analyst Role Overview">

As a highly skilled SAP data analyst, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing effective data warehousing solutions using SAP Business Warehouse (BW). Your primary responsibility will be to develop, configure, migrate, test, and implement SAP BW 7.x data warehousing solutions that cater to the business's evolving needs.

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of SAP BW concepts, including database connectivity, flat file integration, and interface design. You must have experience with DB Connect, Flat File, and interface and have resolved complex data load issues in the past. Additionally, you should be well-versed in SAP BW data modeling, design, and development, as well as have a strong background in business intelligence.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for data extraction, reporting, enhancements, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and support members from various areas of the organization.
  • Design and build data flows using InfoObjects, InfoCubes, Aggregates, Datastore Objects, MultiProviders, InfoSets, Transformations, DTPs, and DataSources.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions and apply a design thinking approach.
  • Develop process chains to load and monitor data loading.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • At least three full life-cycle SAP BW implementations and at least two with BI 7.x.
  • 4 to 8 years of experience in SAP BI/BW.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse concepts.
  • Experience with BW administrator Workbench; BW Info Objects, ODS, Info Cubes, Info Packages, Info Sources, Design complex custom BW solutions translating complex requirements into an optimal BW design.
  • Deep exposure and understanding of SAP Business Warehouse concepts.
