Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes that align with industry best practices. This includes creating and executing test cases, tracking metrics, and documenting results.

Your primary goal will be to identify and mitigate defects, ensuring our products meet specifications and customer expectations.

In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain functional test cases, system & integration test cases, and automated scripts used in the SDLC.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and Implementing Quality Processes: Create and execute test cases, track metrics, and document results to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Defect Identification and Mitigation: Identify and mitigate defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain test cases and scripts.
  • Quality Sign-off: Provide quality sign-off to project teams and execute testing duties as assigned.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field
  • 3+ years of application testing experience
  • Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management
  • Understanding of Relational database models and experience with GUI tools to interact with them
  • Agile environment experience
  • Exposure to bug tracking and test case management tools
  • Experience testing and working with multi-browser and mobile device systems

Additionally, proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, and SoapUI is desired.
