Job Title: QC Chemist

Lonza is a global leader in life sciences, operating across three continents. We're seeking a highly skilled QC Chemist to join our team in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct chemical and instrumental analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, water, and finished products.
  • Sample and test incoming materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities and ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions, updating records accordingly.
  • Verify and calibrate laboratory instruments, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Collect and analyze data related to testing activities.
  • Label and identify raw and packaging materials, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Update logbooks and records as per procedure, adhering to data integrity principles.
  • Ensure test reports are accurate and compliant with requirements.
  • Perform daily verification and internal calibration of equipment.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling of chemicals and glassware.
  • Prepare for audits and ensure compliance with quality manual, SOPs, and STPs.
  • Meet statutory and mandatory requirements of customers and local FDA.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Pharma/M.Pharm/B.Pharm.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Work experience in a similar role for 3-7 years.
