Embedded Firmware Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Specialist to join our team. As an Embedded Firmware Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing firmware for embedded systems.

About the Role:

  • Firmware Development: Develop firmware for microcontrollers, sensors, and other embedded devices.
  • Debugging and Testing: Use JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other debugging tools to identify and resolve firmware issues.
  • Automation and Scripting: Write test scripts in Python or Bash to automate regression and stress testing.
  • Communication Protocols: Understand and implement communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Embedded Systems Knowledge: Understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and hardware interfaces.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C or C++ programming languages.
  • RTOS & Embedded Linux: Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems and Linux-based embedded platforms.
  • Debugging Tools: Familiarity with JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and firmware debugging techniques.
  • Automation & Scripting: Ability to write test scripts in Python or Bash.
