Job Description

The Asset Management Executive role is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of company assets, ensuring their accurate tracking, management, and optimization. This includes procurement, allocation, maintenance, inventory audits, and disposal of assets.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining asset accuracy, accountability, and compliance with company policies. The Asset Management Executive will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless asset management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Tracking and Record Management:
    • Maintain detailed records of all physical and IT assets.
    • Create and update asset registers using asset management software or spreadsheets.
    • Assign assets to employees and departments, and maintain issuance records.
  • Procurement and Deployment:
    • Assist in procuring hardware, equipment, and office supplies based on company needs.
    • Coordinate the receipt, inspection, tagging, and deployment of new assets.
    • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintenance and Support:
    • Schedule and monitor maintenance of equipment (AMC, warranty claims, repairs).
    • Ccoordinate with service providers for asset repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
    • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and warranty standards.
  • Inventory Audits and Reporting:
    • Conduct periodic physical verification and audits of assets.
    • Identify missing, damaged, or underutilized assets and recommend actions.
    • Prepare regular asset reports for management review.
  • Asset Lifecycle Management:
    • Manage end-of-life processes, including asset retrieval, refurbishing, disposal, or resale.
    • Ensure environmentally friendly and legally compliant disposal of obsolete assets.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Logistics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in asset management, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of asset management software/systems is a plus.
