Accounting and Payment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Payment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth day-to-day accounting and payment process.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire accounting cycle from supplier master creation to payment execution.
  • Ensure all invoices are properly accounted for and payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular reviews of supplier aging to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with inter-company invoice accounting and payment policies.
  • Provide support to department users to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely supplier invoice accounting and payments.
  • Review hold invoices and work with concerned stakeholders for their approval and resolution.
  • Oversee cash flow reports to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Participate in daily meetings with the internal team to discuss workflow assignments and discrepancy resolutions.
  • Verify that all required supporting documents and approvals are in place for invoice accounting.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met for the payment process.
  • Support audit and compliance-related matters regarding accounts payable.
  • Offer assistance to departmental team members and resolve their issues in daily operations.
  • Maintain proper record-keeping, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.
  • Prepare and share monthly reports, dashboards, and management information systems (MIS) with senior management on a regular basis for invoice payment process monitoring.
