Role overview:
We seek an experienced Legal Associate with a strong background in commercial contracts, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal acumen, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, including master services agreements, statements of work, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, consultancy agreements, and contract renewals.
- Managing contract amendments, terminations, and renewals.
- Drafting internal company policies, employee handbooks, and compliance protocols in alignment with current laws and best practices.
- Providing strategic legal advice to stakeholders on regulatory and statutory compliance matters.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Experience in corporate restructuring, venture capital transactions, and startup ecosystem legalities.
- Strong understanding of Indian Contract Act, Companies Act, and data protection laws.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Proactive attitude with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Eligibility criteria:
- LLB degree from a recognized university (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant legal role.
