Key Responsibilities
  • Product Catalogue Management: Manage and optimize the product catalogue across multiple categories.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Ensure accuracy of product listings, pricing, descriptions, images, and availability.
  • Category Performance Tracking: Track sales, conversions, and category performance to drive growth.
  • New Category Introduction: Introduce new categories and product lines based on market trends.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners.
  • Pricing Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, promotions, and deals to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Vendor Query Resolution: Act as the main point of contact for vendor queries and issue resolution.
  • Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Vendor Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate new vendor/partner opportunities.
  • Competitor Activity Monitoring: Stay updated on competitor activities and industry trends.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to drive product visibility and category growth.
  • Joint Initiatives Support: Support joint initiatives like promotional campaigns and seasonal launches.
  • Category KPIs Tracking: Track catalogue KPIs (sales, margins, stock levels, vendor performance).
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on category performance and share insights with management.

The ideal candidate should have 4-5 years of experience in catalogue/category management in e-commerce or quick commerce companies, along with strong expertise in vendor management and negotiations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
