Procurement Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Assistant to join our team at Tekno Valves. As a key member of our supply chain department, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to payment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Purchase Requisitions: Verify purchase requisitions, identify suppliers, collect quotes, prepare comparative analysis statements, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders.
• Track Deliveries: Monitor the delivery status of pending supplies, communicate with suppliers as needed, and update supply status accordingly.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all procurement activities, including supplier performance, inventory levels, and purchase history.

Requirements:

• Education: Commerce Graduate or Engineering Graduate with knowledge or interest in supply chain related commercial activities.
• Skills: Basic understanding of commercial terms and conditions related to procurement, proficiency in using Spreadsheets (e.g., MS Excel), excellent business communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of import/export documentation and formalities, working on procurement applications/software (e.g., SAP/ERP), tax and other statutory compliances related to purchase activity.
