Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Java professional to join our backend team as a Senior Backend Developer.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Java. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software applications.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability by implementing caching mechanisms and optimizing database queries.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner and provide solutions to improve system reliability.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve backend architecture and recommend improvements to the team.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Java 8 and above.
  • Proven experience in software application development using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
  • Strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, Redis).
  • Experience with distributed caching solutions (Redis/Memcached/HazelCast) and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
  • Ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient, secure code following a test-driven approach.
  • Understanding of system design and database schema design.
  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
