We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our team at Vijay Gupta Architects (VGA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project coordination, and leadership skills.

About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing various aspects of architectural projects, including conceptual drawings, working drawings, and document preparation. The successful candidate will work closely with our principals and architectural design team to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architectural projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and functional designs;
  • Prepare conceptual drawings, working drawings, and documents in accordance with client requirements;
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all technical issues related to the project;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field;
  • No less than 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office Suites;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with high proficiency in the English language;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, collate information, and prepare reports;
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members;
  • A deep understanding of design concepts, drawings, construction codes, and standards;
  • The ability to think rationally and resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
