About Our Opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead the architecture, scaling, and secure development of our web platforms using Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure web applications using Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Create optimized MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes for high performance
  • Own the deployment pipeline (CI/CD), cloud setup, and server scaling strategy
  • Implement best practices in security: authentication, authorization, rate limiting, data protection
  • Mentor junior developers and review their work to maintain code quality
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure high uptime (monitoring, logging, alerting)
  • Integrate with third-party APIs (payments, shipping, messaging, analytics, etc.)
  • Document processes and create handover guides

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in software development
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js, Node.js, Express, TypeScript
  • Expertise in MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines)
  • Experience with cloud hosting & DevOps (AWS, GCP, or VPS setups, Docker, CI/CD)
  • Hands-on knowledge of security audits, scaling strategies, and API optimization
  • Ability to mentor developers and enforce coding standards
  • Strong problem-solving and system design skills

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Redis/queues for caching and job processing
  • Experience with payment gateways (Razorpay/Stripe), Twilio/WhatsApp APIs
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, serverless functions, or microservices
  • Exposure to observability tools (Grafana, ELK stack, Prometheus, Datadog)
