Job Overview:

As a Procurement Excellence Specialist at Copeland, you will be responsible for ensuring Material Availability at Isolation Valve Plants by achieving Request Date Service Level, Exception Management, and Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order within Turn Around Time. This role is part of the Global ISV Supply Chain organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Extract Open PO Reports and convert PR to PO.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for PO acknowledgement and confirmations.
  • Update ERP systems like SAP or Oracle with confirmation dates.
  • Communicate with plants on specific queries related to PO.
  • Check supply/demand and decide items for release to replenish stock.
  • Implement exception messages in SAP, Oracle, plant ERPs (Expedite, Defer, etc).
  • Liaise with Suppliers for deliveries, maintain promise dates, and order confirmations.
  • Collaborate with Global Stakeholders including Category Managers, Production & Inventory Control Managers, and Value Stream Managers for Material Availability.
  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management process with internal and External suppliers in collaboration with SPE and Category leaders to improve supplier RDSL.
  • Collaborate with Finance for Supplier On-Time payments.
  • Complete Material Master Set up and associated activities.
  • Requisition to PO Conversion for MRO Items.
  • Validate Supplier Lead Times based on delivery lead times.
  • Coordinate Material Master Data Audits in the ERP.
  • Communicate with Plant/Site Buyers on actions and resolutions.
  • Support Team to prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports for Customers and Suppliers.
  • Raise supplier delivery issues to PIC Manager (Supply Chain Manager) and Planning team.
  • Stay up-to-date on Parked/Blocked invoice reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate with vendors to acquire the best cost (as applicable) and delivery requirements while supporting inventory turns.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain or Casting, Forging, Machining.
  • Knowledge in Strategic Sourcing methodology, Supply Chain Management, Contracting, Procurement, and Supplier Management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent digital literacy and technical proficiency, including data gathering skills, expertise, interpretation, and reporting for the Supply Chain organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with expertise in data analysis and management (Advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, PowerPoint, SQL).
  • Self-motivated.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
