Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished Petrophysicist to lead petrophysical evaluations in exploration, appraisal, and development wells.

• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of advanced log interpretation, core-log integration, and digital/AI techniques.
• Responsibilities include designing logging programs, conducting formation evaluation, and integrating results into subsurface models.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for delivering petrophysical insights and optimizing data acquisition strategies.
• The selected candidate will analyze advanced logs, develop workflows for evaluating conventional, unconventional, and tight reservoirs.
• Petrophysical uncertainties and their impact on volumetric resource estimates will be evaluated by the successful candidate.
• They will also analyze and interpret cased hole and production logs to evaluate reservoir behavior, diagnose well performance, and guide optimization strategies.
• Achieving alignment and compliance across all technical, operational, and strategic dimensions will be a key responsibility.
• Leveraging machine learning and AI techniques to enhance petrophysical interpretation, automate workflows, and improve reservoir characterization is highly desirable.
• Evaluating farm-in/farm-out opportunities and delivering petrophysical assessments to support investment decisions will be part of the role.
• Maintaining well log data systems, QA/QC processes, and reporting standards is also crucial.
• Leading training initiatives to promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing among junior Petrophysicists is another important duty.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as geophysics, geology, or petroleum engineering.
• Strong background in petrophysical concepts, rock physics, and reservoir engineering.
• Proven experience in leading petrophysical evaluations, log interpretation, and core-log integration.
• Expertise in digital/AI techniques and machine learning applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
