Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses a range of critical tasks that require exceptional leadership and analytical skills.

  • Supervising External Partners: Oversee the work of outsourced audit firms to ensure timely completion of internal audit assignments. This involves collaborating with auditees and auditors to gather data and reviewing the work performed by these firms.
  • Audit Report Management: Review draft audit reports, align management responses across various levels, and coordinate follow-ups with audit partner firms to secure timely final report issuance.
  • Internal Audit Process: Conduct in-house audits to identify areas for improvement, implement compliancy process enhancements, and prepare audit work programs, test plans, and risk control matrices.
  • Action Plan Tracking: Monitor the status of compliance on audit observations and interact with process owners to validate action taken.
  • Presentation and Communication: Prepare and review presentations for the audit committee and present findings to business heads and global CFO/CEO.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate specific assignments with outsourced firms or conduct in-house assignments as requested by management.
  • Collaborate with business units and functions to implement risk analytics tools and identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop and disseminate audit skills within the team and engage in knowledge-sharing forums.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountants or MBA in finance/cost accountancy.
  • Certified Internal Auditor is desirable.
