Physiotherapy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Physiotherapist to lead our physiotherapy department.

This is a challenging role that demands strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of physiotherapy education, pedagogy, and healthcare trends, and be able to balance academics, clinical, and administrative responsibilities.

• Academic Leadership:
  • Plan, implement, and monitor academic programs as per university norms.
  • Supervise curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment.
  • Guide faculty in research, publications, and participation in academic forums.
  • Ensure effective clinical training and integration with hospital services.

• Administrative & Managerial:
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of the Physiotherapy Department.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (University guidelines).
  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff performance.
  • Prepare budgets and manage resources.

• Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to accreditation standards.
  • Maintain proper records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities.
  • Facilitate audits and inspections from governing bodies.

• Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build collaboration with healthcare institutions and professional bodies.
  • Organize workshops, CMEs, and conferences to enhance learning exposure.
  • Engage with parents, students, and alumni to strengthen institutional reputation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: MPT / Ph.D. in Physiotherapy.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role.
