Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to fill this key role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing to guarantee the highest product quality.
  • Analyze user requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create comprehensive test cases and scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product releases and meet project deadlines.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and documentation to summarize test activities and results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance (QA) tester.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of databases and querying using SQL.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with API testing or mobile application testing.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
  • Knowledge of automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
