We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in conducting audits under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in auditing and a strong understanding of financial services industry requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or support IFRS-based audits for clients across various sectors, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and best practices in financial reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and disclosures to ensure adherence to IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with client finance teams and other stakeholders to gather audit evidence and documentation.
- Evaluate internal controls, identify audit risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, findings, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with international audit teams and clients across multiple time zones.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in IFRS and regulatory changes impacting the financial services industry.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IFRS audits, preferably in a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm.
- Prior audit experience with companies dealing with complex financial instruments.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial services.
