Cloud Architect Position

At our company, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to design and implement cutting-edge cloud architectures across multiple platforms.

• Design Scalable Solutions: Develop scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions that meet business needs.
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code Initiatives: Manage IaC initiatives using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Architect Containerized Environments: Design and manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes at enterprise scale to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Build Secure Cloud Networking Solutions: Create secure cloud networking solutions including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and segmentation to protect against security threats.
• Drive DevOps Best Practices: Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies to improve collaboration and efficiency.
• Maintain Cloud Security Frameworks: Establish and maintain cloud security frameworks aligned with industry standards to ensure compliance and data protection.
• Optimize Cloud Spend: Optimize cloud spend through resource management, rightsizing, and automation tools to minimize waste and maximize ROI.
• Design Data Lake and Big Data Architectures: Develop data lake and big data architectures to support AI/ML workloads and drive business insights.
• Develop Monitoring and Logging Frameworks: Create monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Partner with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and guide architectural decisions to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Lead Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning: Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning for mission-critical systems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
• Stay Ahead of Emerging Cloud Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and assess their business impact to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ Years of Experience in Cloud Architecture: 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
• Deep Expertise in Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven Track Record: Proven track record designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions.
• Strong Knowledge of Cloud Networking: Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, load balancing, firewalls).
• Hands-on Experience with IaC Tools: Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Proficiency in Containerization and Orchestration: Proficiency in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.
• Solid Background in DevOps Practices: Solid background in DevOps practices and cloud cost optimization.
• Knowledge of Cloud Security and Compliance Standards: Knowledge of cloud security & compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR).
• Experience with Data Lakes and Big Data Technologies: Experience with data lakes and big data technologies in the cloud.
• Familiarity with Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
