Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to lead designers, accompanying them during client meetings, and taking detailed notes.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. We require 1-2 years of work experience in interior design or a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support lead designers in their daily tasks and projects.
  • Accompany lead designers during client meetings and take detailed notes.
  • Take measurements and photos of projects as required.
  • Create CAD drawings for client projects.
  • Research d cor and materials, provide pricing and availability information.
  • Place orders, purchase materials, and pick up and deliver.
  • Submit receipts for all purchases and orders.
  • Track and communicate the status of orders, resolving any problems that arise.
  • Maintain spreadsheets with client selections and finish materials.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with designers, contractors, clients, and vendors.
  • Respond to client questions and concerns, providing project updates.
  • Meet with vendors and assist with installations.
  • Submit detailed hours (billable and non-billable) and mileage log monthly.
  • Check the daily client spreadsheet for new tasks and update the status of assigned tasks at the end of each day.
