Accounting Professional

As an Accounting Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting our Global Operations by managing and performing Reconciliation of Accounting PL with Business estimates. You will be responsible for reconciling accounting records with business estimates, identifying and investigating material differences, and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Reconcile accounting records with business estimates to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  2. Investigate and resolve material differences between accounting records and business estimates.
  3. Post trade accruals to reconcile timing differences with trading partners and align accounting records with business estimates.
  4. Timely report monthly accounting results along with trader's estimates to controllers and finance business partners.
  5. Liaise with various teams, including execution, trade support, and FPA business partners, to ensure timely closure of month-end reporting and resolve relevant issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in agribusiness commodity trading industry preferred.
  • Minimum education qualification - CA (Chartered Accountant) or ICWA (Institute of Cost and Works Accounts of India).
  • Good knowledge of concepts and procedures related to General Ledger, Mark to Market, Options, Futures, Intercompany, and Reporting activities.
  • Ability to provide high-quality customer service for General Ledger, Intercompany, and Reporting activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external teams across the globe.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
