At Oblivious.com, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to play a critical role in ensuring the quality and security of our cutting-edge technologies.

We are a start-up that focuses on building efficient tools to apply analytics and machine learning inference on sensitive data. We were founded by former PhDs in machine learning and cryptography from the University of Oxford who are on a mission to make privacy-preserving technologies the new norm across the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration testing of various system components (both frontend and backend) to ensure seamless operation.
  • Conduct regression testing to detect and prevent breaking changes with new product versions using tools like Webdriver.io/Selenium.
  • Perform API testing for REST APIs using tools like Postman/Newman.
  • Carry out performance and load testing with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Test and validate dashboards, such as Grafana, to ensure they meet performance and usability standards.
  • Engage in security penetration testing and provide insights for enhancing security.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Selenium, Python, with AWS knowledge being a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with Docker containers and container orchestration.
  • Ability to test across browsers and devices (mobile and desktop).
  • Experience with automating Databases, Kubernetes would be a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of security practices, python jail, container isolation, and data encryption are a plus.

Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in software development engineering with a focus on testing. They should have a strong understanding of programming languages, including Python, and be proficient in automation tools like Selenium and Jenkins.
