Position: Warehouse and Logistics Specialist

The Warehouse and Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing and managing warehouse operations and logistics activities. This involves efficiently organizing and controlling inventory, coordinating shipments, managing transportation, and ensuring smooth logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, implement inventory control strategies to minimize carrying costs, and coordinate with planning teams to ensure timely restocking.
  • Order Fulfilment: Oversee order processing and fulfilment activities, ensure timely and accurate shipment of orders to customers, and address any order-related issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Warehouse and Carrier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and carriers, negotiate contracts and terms for transportation and logistics services, and evaluate supplier and carrier performance and recommend improvements.
  • Logistics Coordination: Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another, receive products and coordinate delivery to customers, plan and optimize transportation routes, schedule shipments and deliveries efficiently, and monitor the status of shipments and address delays or issues as they arise.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, maintain accurate records and documentation for all logistics activities, and prepare reports and documentation for audits or compliance reviews.
  • FPDE: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the logistics process, analyze transportation and distribution costs and recommend optimizations, track logistics expenses and monitor cost.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve logistics and supply chain processes, implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs, and lead or participate in process improvement projects.
  • Supply Chain and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Monitor supply chain activities and identify potential issues, devise solutions to maintain smooth operations, establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners in the supply chain network, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, and sales.
  • Service Provider Payment: Review and verify invoice billing for payment arrangement, create PR/PO for all the LSP in line with the contracts, review and clear web cycles for all the warehouse and carrier invoice, and provide service confirmation to all the LSP.
