Stader Labs: Solana Blockchain Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Solana blockchain software engineer to join our team at Stader Labs. This is a unique opportunity to work on building, maintaining, and optimizing decentralized applications (dApps) on the Solana blockchain.

About the Role:

  • This role involves developing, testing, and deploying smart contracts on the Solana blockchain.
  • You will design and build scalable and high-performance dApps using Rust and/or Solana Web3.js.
  • The ideal candidate will write clean, modular, and efficient code for interacting with Solana programs.
  • Optimizing transaction throughput and reducing costs on Solana through effective programming is a key responsibility of this position.
  • Collaborating with the product and design teams to ensure high-quality user experiences is also crucial.
  • Staying updated on the latest Solana and blockchain technologies to continually improve the development process is essential.
  • This role requires debugging and troubleshooting blockchain-related issues.
  • Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices in blockchain development is necessary.

About You:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in Solana development is required.
  • Proficiency in Rust programming language is essential.
  • A strong understanding of Solana blockchain architecture and ecosystem is necessary.
  • Experience with Solana development tools such as Anchor, Solana CLI, and Solana Web3.js is desired.
  • Knowledge of smart contract development and deployment on Solana is expected.
  • An understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) and decentralized applications (dApps) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with cryptography, distributed systems, and security best practices is desired.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills are essential.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is necessary.
