Job Title: Director of Engineering

About the Role

The Director of Engineering will lead our engineering teams in delivering exceptional results, ensuring high-quality facilities and systems that meet the needs of our guests.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve energy efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and standardize engineering policies across all properties
  • Lead capital expenditure projects including renovations and new builds
  • Set benchmarks and KPIs for property-level engineering teams

Maintenance & Operations

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Ensure optimal functioning of MEP systems
  • Coordinate with resort teams to resolve issues swiftly
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
  • Advanced certifications in facility or energy management preferred
  • 15+ years in hospitality engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Expertise in building systems and CMMS tools
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
