Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Virtualization Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our virtualized environment, ensuring high levels of availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of VMware vSphere environments
  • Cloud technology implementation and management (AWS and Azure)
  • Version Control Systems (Git) management
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Crossplane
  • Windows and Linux operating system administration
  • vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestrator configuration and management
  • Scripting languages (Ansible and PowerShell) integration with AWS and Azure APIs

Additional Requirements:

  • ITIL Framework knowledge
  • Change Management experience
  • Containerization Orchestration skills (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • CICD Pipelines expertise (Jenkins and GitLab CI)
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) knowledge (AWS IAM and Azure AD)
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup Solutions understanding (Commvault)
  • Networking Fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Load Balancers)
  • Automation Configuration Management skills (Ansible)
  • Cloud Security Best Practices knowledge (Data encryption, Security groups, Key management)
  • Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning experience
