We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to lead our application security efforts.

This hands-on role requires deep knowledge of secure design patterns, penetration testing, and offensive security practices.

You will work closely with engineering and security teams to identify vulnerabilities and design robust defenses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Security Expertise
    • Maintain current knowledge of secure coding practices, threat modeling, and architecture assessments.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams on secure development methodologies.
    • Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless detection and remediation of vulnerabilities.
    • Work closely with product teams to address identified security risks and implement secure solutions.
  • Penetration Testing Specialist
    • Perform manual and automated penetration tests against web applications, APIs, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
    • Simulate attacker behaviors to assess technical weaknesses and business risks.
    • Create detailed reports with risk ratings and actionable guidance for remediation.
    • Validate security fixes in collaboration with product owners.
  • Offensive Security Strategist
    • Develop and execute red team operations to simulate advanced persistent threat scenarios.
    • Design custom tools and scripts to test detection and response capabilities.
    • Collaborate to improve detection, logging, and incident response based on attack insights.
    • Contribute to the development of offensive security playbooks and adversary emulation plans.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Mentor junior team members and promote security best practices across the organization.
    • Participate in investigations, threat hunting, and incident response activities.
    • Communicate risks to engineering staff through training and technical demonstrations.
    • Support security audits, compliance efforts, and executive briefings with technical expertise.
