Job Title: Databricks Developer

Overview

As a highly skilled Databricks Developer, you will play a key role in driving our big data strategy and delivering innovative solutions to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient Databricks workloads using Python, Spark, and Hadoop platforms.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data warehousing and data lake development, ensuring seamless data flow and strong data modeling.
  3. Develop shell scripts for automation and implement standard software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
  4. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of big data and machine learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Very Strong Python knowledge.
  • Experience with pyspark, bigdata technologies.
  • Proficiency in Databricks.
  • Knowledge of cloud AWS Preferred.
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Good SQL and higher-level programming languages with solid knowledge of data mining, machine learning algorithms, and tools.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and excitement for technology and innovation.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expert proficiency in using Python, Spark (tuning jobs), SQL, Hadoop platforms to build Big Data.
  • Comfortable in developing shell scripts for automation.
  • Proficient in standard software development, such as version control, testing, and deployment.
  • Extensive data warehousing/data lake development experience with strong data modelling and data integration experience.
