Job Role: Enterprise Software Developer

  • We are seeking an experienced software developer to lead the development of high-quality, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing Microservices architecture, ensuring seamless integration with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and event processing.
  • This role requires expertise in cloud-native development, leveraging AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement individual features and components using Java and Spring Boot framework.
  • Build and integrate applications with Apache Kafka for high-throughput, fault-tolerant, and real-time data streaming and event processing.
  • Develop and deploy applications leveraging various AWS cloud services.
  • Ensure quality and performance considerations throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Actively participate in an Agile development environment, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate effectively between onsite and offshore development teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Java & Spring Boot: Strong proficiency in Java programming language and extensive hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
  • Kafka: Solid experience with Apache Kafka, including producer/consumer development, topic management, and understanding of Kafka Streams or Kafka Connect.
  • Cloud - AWS: Practical experience with core AWS services relevant to application development and deployment (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
Bonus Requirements:
  • Retail Domain Knowledge: Familiarity or prior experience working within the Retail domain.
  • Database Skills: Experience with PL/SQL for database interactions.
  • Container Orchestration: Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
