Senior Cloud Architect for Data Engineering

The role of a cloud data engineer involves designing and deploying scalable, cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
- Implementing end-to-end cloud data engineering solutions like enterprise data lakes and data hubs in AWS.
- Developing strong expertise in Lambda or Kappa architectures.
- Awareness of data management concepts and data modeling.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS compute services such as EMR, Glue, and storage services like S3, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with any one of the AWS streaming services such as Kinesis, SQS, and MSK.
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning in Spark framework - Core, SQL, and Spark Streaming.
- Knowledge in application DevOps tools such as Git, CI/CD frameworks, and source code management.
- Awareness of AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Account Config, and Config Rules.
- Understanding of cloud data migration processes, methods, and project lifecycles.
- 4-8 years of experience in hands-on AWS environment.
- Proficient in Python/Scala programming background.
- Good knowledge of Big Data frameworks and related technologies - Hadoop and Spark is mandatory.
- Good analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
