Job Title: Software Development Professional

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a new career challenge as a skilled software development professional. You will be working in a dynamic feature team, using your extensive experience to engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex.

The role involves collaborating with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform to optimize our software engineering capability.

You will be responsible for designing, producing, testing and implementing high-quality working code, while working across the life cycle from requirements analysis and design, through coding to testing, deployment and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing complex and critical software rapidly which adds value to the business.
  • Working in permanent teams who are responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development, through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.
  • Designing and producing software solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise software engineering processes.
  • Developing and implementing software solutions using Java programming, Spring/Springboot Framework, Kubernetes/Docker, Hibernate.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in software engineering, software design and architecture. You should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in Java programming, Java/J2EE, web technologies, Spring/Springboot Framework, Kubernetes/Docker, Hibernate.

You should also have experience in multiple programming languages or low-code toolsets, DevOps, Testing and Agile methodology and associated toolsets.

A background in solving highly complex, analytical and numerical problems is essential.
