Job Overview:

We seek a talented Jewellery Designer to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative pieces that align with our brand identity and meet market trends. This role involves collaborating with production teams, marketing, and clients to turn concepts into finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create original designs for various jewellery types, including rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Rhino, Matrix, AutoCAD, or JewelCAD, to create detailed designs and technical drawings.
  • Work closely with clients or internal teams to understand design requirements and translate them into compelling pieces.
  • Conduct research on market trends, materials, and techniques to ensure innovative and competitive designs.
  • Select suitable materials, including metals, gems, and other elements.
  • Prepare design presentations and mood boards for client or stakeholder approval.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.
  • Revise designs based on feedback or production limitations.
  • Maintain an organized portfolio of design work.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in jewellery design (2+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software and traditional hand-drawing/sketching techniques.
  • Strong understanding of materials, gemstones, and production processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D printing or prototyping tools.
  • Understanding of branding and merchandising strategies.
  • Prior experience working in luxury or bespoke jewellery.
