Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled automation engineer with expertise in software testing, focusing on automated test frameworks.

This role involves designing and implementing test automation strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality of financial applications.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and hands-on experience in banking payments schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine such as OPF is desirable.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.
  • Write clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying OOP principles.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for payment applications involving Wires, SWIFT or SEPA payment schemes
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT or SEPA and payments processing engine such as OPF is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
